Mobsters in Minneapolis

Wednesday, May 22
The fun starts with a costumed Mill City Mobster who will be leading a tour through Minneapolis’ colorful past in the 1920s and 1930s including the site of the 3rd Northwestern Bank hold-up by Barker/Karpis gang. After the riding tour, we will have lunch at Keegan’s Irish Pub. Indicate your choice for lunch when you register:
1) Beer Crisped Fish-n-Chips – Icelandic Cod with homemade tartar sauce and malt vinegar, Keegan’s crispy wedge fries (chips), beverage and cookie, OR
2) Half Sandwich – Lean corned beef piled high with Swiss cheese and Dijon mustard, chips, beverage and cookie. $69/members, $79/non-members. Leave the Heritage Center at 10:15 a.m. and return at 3:30 p.m. Sign up with payment by Monday, April 22.

Bell Museum and Jax Café

Thursday, June 20
Start your day at Jax Café with roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, chocolate mousse and beverage. Then it’s off to the Bell Museum where you will see the planetarium show, One Giant Leap. The seamless planetarium dome is the first of its kind in the U.S. Then meet your guide for a tour of the New Bell Museum which brings together science, art and the environment with a unique Minnesota perspective. (Considerable walking and standing are required – bring a walker or wheelchair if needed.) $79/members, $89/non-members. Leave the Heritage Center at 9:30 a.m., return at 6:15 p.m. Sign up with payment by Monday, May 20.

Scenic St. Croix River Luncheon Cruise

Tuesday, July 16
Enjoy a beautiful boat ride along the shores of the St. Croix River. Lunch includes a build-your-own-sandwich buffet, pasta salad, fresh fruit, cookie and water. Cash bar is available. Do a little shopping in downtown Hudson before the trip back. (Considerable walking and managing narrow gangplanks are required. Participants may bring walkers or wheelchairs along on the trip.) $70/members, $80/non-members.
