Environmental Resources

Welcome to the Environmental Resources web page! Here you can find a wide range of information about Lakeville's natural resources. Lakeville is home to many lakes, wetlands, streams, prairies, and woodlands. Environmental Resources staff help to manage, promote, and protect these important natural features.

Environmental Resources staff and projects are funded through the Surface Water Management budget. This $6.50 per quarter fee is collected through water bills and funds all projects, monitoring, education, and inspections that we do. We are very proud of the amount of services we provide with this budget. For more information, read our quarterly updates from 2009 (PDF, 1.2 MB).
