Recycling

Recycling logoWe are now able to recycle more than we throw in the garbage - but that takes a conscious effort and extra time. The City of Lakeville is committed to reducing the amount of trash our community produces, expanding our recycling efforts in the community, and implementing energy-saving alternatives in a cost-effective manner.

Learn how to buy smart, recycle more, and save money in the process - use the menu on the right to find out more information.

Lakeville recycles!
In order to encourage and support recycling efforts, the City of Lakeville is offering residents an opportunity to receive promotional items such as reusable shopping bags, water bottles, LED flashlights, compost bins, and other items, while supplies last. Look for Lakeville recycles! on these web pages to learn more.

Recycling logoFACT: About 21 percent of Minnesota's household garbage is recyclable paper. Don't forget to recycle phone books, magazines, and cardboard boxes such as cereal, shoe, and toothpaste boxes.
